How may I obtain rank directly from International Yudo Federation?

Promotion authority in ChungTongKwan Yudo has been delegated by the International Yudo Federation to the national Yudo associations.  No ChungTongKwan Yudo practitioner “needs” either a Federation or a Kwon rank certificate.  A valid rank certificate from any national Yudo association will be recognized by any other national Yudo association.

There will be those, however, who for reasons of their own want a Federation or a Kwon rank certificate.  This information applies only to those people who want a Federation rank certificate.  With a few exceptions, these individuals will already have a rank certificate from a national Yudo association.

Download the Request for Rank Certificate form from this website. Submit it to the mailing address shown on the form, with the necessary documentation, and the required fee.

The fee for a rank certificate from the International Yudo Federations is $100.00USD per degree, i.e. $100.00 for 1st Dan, $200.00 for 2nd Dan, $300.00 for 3rd Dan, etc. After the initial rank certificate is issued, all future rank certificates must be issued in the proper sequence.

The certificate remains the property of International Yudo Federation.  If you engage in any actions to dishonor yourself or to bring disrepute to the military arts, International Yudo Federation reserves the right to demand the return of your rank certificate.
