What is the International Yudo Federation?

Yudo is the traditional Korean military art continuing the legacy of the oriental art of Judo, under Judo’s Korean tradition and lineage.  Chung Tong Yudo is the first Korean military art kwon - meaning a system, style, or school of thought  - created by the authorities in Korea as an international kwon.  That is, it was created to operate outside the Korean peninsula, rather than on the peninsula. ChungTongKwan Yudo is the name given to the holistic military art taught by Chung Tong Yudo. 

The International Yudo Federation (IYF) is the international governing body managing and administering the education and training programs of Chung Tong Yudo on a world-wide basis.  Stated another way, the International Yudo Federation is the only organization authorized to conduct its programs in the traditional military art of Yudo, outside the Republic of Korea.
