Learning a military art requires education, training, and
the development of psychomotor skills. The instructional media for ChungTongKwan
Yudo is being developed by academics in the United States of America, in a
format and at an educational level meeting the existing standards of
post-secondary education, at the university-level, on a international basis.
The rank system of ChungTongKwan Yudo, as with the
instructional requirements, have been reviewed and approved by the applicable
bodies in the Republic of Korea. These bodies include, but are not limited to,
the ROK Yudo Association, the Korea Judo Association, the Korea Hapkido
Federation, and the Korean Martial Arts Instructors Association.
The day-to-day administration and management of the
education, training, and promotion programs of ChungTongKwan Yudo, are
accomplished world-wide by the International Yudo Federation. Within a given
nation, they are accomplished by the national Yudo association for that nation,
as the national governing body for Yudo within the nation, and the international
representative of the Federation for the nation.
Under this system, a uniform standard of excellence is
maintained world-wide for the traditional Korean military art of Yudo.
