What Is ChungTongKwan Yudo?

ChungTongKwan Yudo is the system of scientific self-defense for the new millennium taught by the traditional Korean military art kwon named Chung Tong Yudo.  ChungTongKwan Yudo is unique among the traditional Korean military arts in two respects.

First, is the manner in which the educational and training aspects of the art are organized.  The ChungTongKwan Yudo curriculum is organized in a format consistent with the academic standards of higher education in the contemporary global society. The educational content at each “belt level” below black belt, is equivalent to a college course with laboratory.  At the black belt-level, each Dan degree is equivalent to academic rank. 

Second is the manner in which the administrative and regulatory aspects of the ChungTongKwan Yudo are under the management and supervision of a single unified international governing body external to Korea.  That body is the International Yudo Federation.  

The ChongKwanJang, or Founding Grandmaster, of Chung Tong Yudo, appointed by the ROK Yudo Association and Korea Judo Association, also presides as the President of the International Yudo Federation.  From this ChongKwanJang back to the original Founder of the Oriental martial art of Judo there is a direct, unbroken, and undisputed lineage and tradition.
